CANOE attended the 6th Printed Electronics Meetings (France)

30 mars 2016

With a 2 milliards USD market in 2015 (estimated by IDTECHEX), printed electronics is exponentially growing. Electronic connections between components can be printed as well as passive or active components themselves, using conductive ink containing semiconductor or electroluminescent materials. The use of various flexible substrates (paper, textile or plastic) provides new functionalities.

All of these topics have been discussed during the 6th Printed Electronics Meetings which took place in Gabriel Pavilion in Paris (France) on March 23rd.

CANOE seized this opportunity to discuss with partners about further developments and tell them that a new deposition head has been installed on its CERADROP X-Series inkjet printer. Indeed, the Q-class head allows the printer to widen the range of inks that can be printed and reduce printing time.
